

Léon Louis Antoine Tanzi was a French artist born in Paris in 1848. He was known for his orientalist war scenes, portraits, and landscapes. Tanzi trained at the Julian Academy in Paris and worked as a painter, illustrator, and teacher. He died in Blida, Algeria in 1913.
