
Harry Rein was born in NYC on Feb. 13, 1908. Rein studied at the Art Students League of New York City. He resided in Norwich, CT in 1940 and then he moved to Pasadena, CA to be a director of the Western Serigraph Institute. His cartoons were in the New Yorker magazine before his death in Pasadena on April 7, 1969.
He exhibited at New York World's Fair in 1939, Laguna Beach AA in 1946. He also did murals at Greenpoint Hospital, Brooklyn, New York, Westwood Hills Christian Church in California, First Christian Church in Whittier, California, Pasadena Child Guidance clinic, and Hollywood-Beverly Christian Church.
