

Johann Georg van Caspel was a Dutch painter of portraits and murals. He studied at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten (State Academy of Fine Arts) in Amsterdam before going on to work at the studio of Maurits van der Valk, and the Amand Printing Company, and eventually working in architecture and designing mansions in the area of Gooi.
