
Julius Bosse-Abbazia was an Austrian painter born in Mecklenburg in 1873. He was a portrait painter for the Viennese imperial court until 1914.
Bosse was married to Luise Bosse, also a painter, and they had a son named Walter Bosse who became a ceramic artist and designer. Julius was a member of the Austrian Association of Artists and was active in Vienna and Abbazia (Opatija), and possibly in Brion.
He passed away in 1930.
