Henry Edward Otto Murray Dixon was a wildlife artist - a pupil of Archibald Thorburn - with over 140 plates published in Sporting and Dramatic magazine and in The Field. he volunteered and joined a Scottish regiment because he had so much of his life drawing and painting birds and animals there.
