
Prosper-Louis Colmant was a Belgian painter.
Prosper-Louis Colmant is notably the author of a series of eleven allegories on the theme of the commune and its administration, decorating the council room of the Laeken town hall. Together with Henry Meuwis, Prosper Colmant taught drawing at the École de Dessin et des Arts Décoratifs in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean.
