Severo Rodríguez Etchart was an Argentine painter.

He studied at the National College and later at the Academy of Fine Arts, in Buenos Aires. In 1879 he traveled to Turin to study at the Albertina Academy and then to Paris study at the Académie Julian, with William Bouguereau and Tony Robert-Fleury.
