Gordon Ross is an American illustrator, born in Scotland in 1873.
He sailed to San Francisco, California as a teenager and studied at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute and worked in the art department of the San Francisco Chronicle until 1904. He moved to New York and became a book illustrator, working on books such as Merry Wives Of Windsor, Great Expectations, and The Pickwick Papers.
He exhibited his works at the Bohemian Club, the American Arts Association, and the New York Times. Gordon Ross died in 1946.
