Giulio del Torre was an Italian painter
A native of the village of Romans d'Isanzo, a picturesque little village near Trieste, Giulio del Torre became a student of the Academy of Vienna under Karl von Blaas. This instructor was a versatile artist; initially painting religious art, von Blaas later did portraits, genre and mythological scenes. Del Torre also spent several years at the Academy in Rome and later in Venice.
