
Painter Tomáš Andraškovič was born on December 8, 1871 in Hlohovec. For a time he worked in Munich, where he met Alexander Kubínyi, a native of Demänová. Andraškovič's works reflected national symbolism similar to the works of Milan T. Mitrovsky and Ivan Žabota. The artist exhibited alongside Hanul, Lehotský and August at a joint exhibition of Moravian-Slovak and Hungarian-Slovak painters in Hodonín and also at the Žilina Industrial Exhibition in 1903. Tomáš Andraškovič died in Bratislava in 1944.
