
Tony Grubhofer (1855-1935) was an Austrian painter and draftsman from Innsbruck. Studied at the Munich School of Art and at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. Study trips abroad, 1901 cooperation at the magazine The Studio in London. Grubhofer has been a director of the technical college for handicrafts in Bolzano since 1906, in 1913 he became director of the State Commercial School in Innsbruck and head of the university signal courses.
