Karol Miloslav Lehotský was a Slovak writer, translator and teacher.
He came from the aristocratic Lehotský family with predicates from Malý Rakov and Bystrička. Karol Miloslav Lehotský studied at schools in Trenčín, Český Těšín, Modra and Levoča. He received his teaching diploma in Banská Bystrica. From 1866 he worked as a teacher in Báčský Petrovac, in the years 1873 - 1905 in Laliti. He authored educational and pedagogical articles, travelogues, short prose and translations. During his service in Yugoslavia, he supported the enlightenment, cultural and economic life of Slovaks in the Lowlands. In 1887 he was the publisher of the magazine Priateľ školy. He was a member of Matica slovenská.
