
Wellington civil servant and artist. Student at Wellington College from 1873-1878. In 1896, he was a New Zealand representative tennis player. He was involved with other artists based at Pumpkin Cottage, Upper Hutt, ca 1900. He exhibited two works in the Wellington Arts Club First annual exhibition, May 1911. President of the Academy of Fine Arts. He was a Hansard reporter in the 1920s.
