Charles Wautier Was a Flemish painter.
Wautier was born in Mons (Belgium). According RKD he was working in Brussels without registrating himself in the Guild. After several admonitions it still took him till 14 March 1651 to officially register himself.
Charles and his sister Michaelina Wautier shared a house and studio throughout their lives. He was teacher of Michaelina Wautier, Tomas Monnorino (1653), Pier Vivier (1657) and Gillis Wauters (1686). He died in Brussels.
