Konrad Hahm was a German folklorist. In the 1920s, he worked as a consultant to Reich Art Administrator Edwin Redslob in Berlin and was primarily responsible for matters relating to folk art and folklore. From 1928 to 1935, he headed the Collection for German Folklore, which was affiliated with the prehistoric department of the Ethnological Museum in Berlin, and until his death he was director of the State Museum of German Folklore, newly founded in 1935.

In this context, he worked on the scientific and curatorial orientation of the museum, which he sought to establish in its own building and give a more prominent position as an institution. In addition, he endeavored to position folklore as a national science, thereby securing his own position and that of his institution under National Socialism. Hahm played a prominent role in the development of the Berlin Museum of Folklore, which has since been incorporated into the Museum of European Cultures.
