Adrien Thevenot was a French artist born in 1889 in Rougemont-Le-Château, France. He studied at the Académie Julian Paris with Paul-Albert Laurens and was a member of the Société des Artistes Français. He attended the Paris Salon from 1928 and was honored with the Prix Maguelonne Lefebvre-Glaize in the same year. In 1933, his work was exhibited at the National Museum of Modern Art Madrid. He was initially active in Paris but during World War II, he escaped to the free zone. Later, he was mentioned as being active in Alles-sur-Dordogne.
