Robert Antral was a French painter and printmaker, mainly of etchings. Antrall was a pupil of Cormon at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1913. He was conscripted into the army in 1914, wounded in the war, and decorated with the Croix-de-Guerre, with a mention in army dispatch. Besides his favourite subjects, he also painted two self-portraits. He won the Prix Blumenthal in 1926.
