Cornelia (Nelly) Spoor was a Dutch illustrator and visual artist. Together with Sijtje Aafjes, Rie Cramer, Netty Heyligers and Freddie Langeler, she was among the most popular female illustrators of her time.
Spoor illustrated mostly children's books, but also made illustrations for the children's monthly magazine Ons Thuis by Henriëtte Dietz and Katharina Leopold. Her work has been described as atmospheric and detailed, the children in her drawings showing emotion and character. The silhouette drawings in the fairy tale book 't Is lang geleden are considered a highlight of her versatile oeuvre.
