Maria Wrangel was a Swedish portrait and landscape painter.
She was the daughter of the governor Gustaf Asplund and Tekla Nordqvist and from 1888 married Fredrik Ulrik Wrangel. Maria Wrangel studied at the Academy of Music in 1877, at the Technical School for one year and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts 1883–1888. She then went to Paris for further studies with Raphaël Collin, Pascal Dagnan-Bouveret, Gustave Courtois and others.
She was represented at the Paris Salons in 1889 and 1890 and participated in the art exhibition in Gothenburg in 1891 and in the Swedish Artists' Association exhibitions in Stockholm in 1892 and 1895 and in the Art Association for Southern Sweden's exhibition in Malmö in 1895.
She resumed her music studies in violin witg KJ Lindberg in Stockholm and Wilma Hallé in Berlin in 1901. Hanne's art consists of portraits and landscape paintings.
