Charles Martinwas a French artist and illustrator.
Present from the beginning of the Gazette du Bon tone, Charles Martin's work is recognizable by its lines inspired by Cubism, resulting in the figures slightly angular features.
He also worked for fashion magazines such as Harper's Bazaar and Vanity Fair, before turning to the illustration of musical and literary texts, as in 1914 for Sports and Entertainment Erik Satie, or Les Silences du Colonel Bramble d André Maurois in 1929.
