Jean-Baptiste Kindermans was a Belgian landscape painter. Baptiste was born in 1822 in Antwerp and died in 1876 in Brussels-Ixelles.

Jean-Baptiste studied at the Academy of Namur and F. Marinus. Also, was a member of the Academies of Amsterdam and Rotterdam, and turned to one of the first painters of plain air painting.
