Aglaüs Bouvenne

Aglaüs Ernest Bouvenne, born February 6, 1829 in Paris and died December 12, 1903 in Levallois-Perret, was a French engraver and draughtsman.

Among other works, he engraved Victor Hugo's bookplate.

First widowed to Adolphine Augustine Decamps, he remarried Elisabeth Flameng, sister of the engraver Léopold Flameng.

His collection included five etchings by Marie Bracquemond, two of which were engraved by Léon Coutil after his drawings.
