Ernst Dorn was a German painter born in 1889 in Neustadt near Coburg. He studied at the Neustadt Industrial School and later at the Munich School of Applied Arts and the Munich Academy with Gabriel von Hackl and Otto Seitz. He exhibited at the Munich Glass Palace and worked in Munich. He died in Munich in 1927
