Franz Muller-Munster was a German illustrator, graphic artist, history and genre painter born in 1867 in Münster / Westphalia. He studied at the Berlin Academy from 1886-94 with Hugo Vogel, Friedrich Bokelmann and Waldemar Friedrich. Franz sent to the 1904 World Exhibition in St. Louis. He also illustrated more than 60 children's books. He was friends with Franz Stassen, with whom he went on study trips to France and Italy. Franz was an employee of the magazine "Die Schönheit". He was member of the Reich Association of Visual Artists, the Association of Berlin Artists and the General German Art Cooperative.
