Adolf Mayerhofer was an Austrian painter. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts (among others with Eisenmenger and Griepenkerl) and then devoted himself to portrait, genre and landscape painting. Around 1900 he founded the Association of Austrian Visual Artists.
