Andre Durenceau… recognized as one of the outstanding mural painters and designers in the United States. Born in France, he was selected at the age of 18 to come to the United States as a designer of jewelry. After four years in Hollywood as color consultant, stage and costume designer, he was brought to New York to paint murals for Cornelius Vanderbilt Whitney.
