Carl Kaiser-Herbst sometimes also Karl Kaiser-Herbst was an Austrian landscape painter.
Kaiser-Herbst studied from 1878 at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with Christian Griepenkerl, then until 1886 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Nikolaus Gysis and Josef Wenglein, but was not entered in the Academy's register book.
From 1890 to 1894 Carl Kaiser-Herbst went on study trips to the Alps, Dalmatia, Corfu and England.
He exhibited his landscape paintings in Paris in 1892, and later also in London, Glasgow, Munich, Vienna and Baden near Vienna.
Kaiser-Herbst spent the period from 1905 to 1909 in England and returned to Vienna in 1910. After the First World War he painted particularly often in Burgenland.
His wife Emilie Kaiser-Schlepitzka (1865–1955) was also a painter.
