Léon Huber a french painter who specialized in animals, in particular cats.
Huber was also known for helping the poor by offering food and other services every day from his studio. In addition, Huber tutored many young artists.
Born in Montmartre, Paris, he studied painting at L’Ecole des Beaux-Arts with Jules Grun. He exhibited his works at the Salon of French Artists from 1887.
