
Painter, illustrator and poster artist Maurice Lourdey exhibited his work at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris between 1885 and 1892. In 1888, he made illustrations for Le Courrier Français. After 1890, he made cartoons and drawings for humor magazines like Gill Blas Illustré, Le Journal de Sourire, Le Rire and Le Petit Journal de Rire.
