Andreas Bernhard Söhngen was a German landscape, architectural and still life painter, draftsman, etcher and lithographer.
Söhngen received his artistic training in Frankfurt am Main, as a student of Edward von Steinle, at the Frankfurt School of Applied Arts and from 1893 to 1896 at the Städel Institute, where Frank Kirchbach, Eugen Klimsch and Bernhard Mannfeld taught him. From 1887 to 1890 he ran a decorative painting studio in Düsseldorf.
Söhngen was the father of the teacher and sports official Hans Söhngen, who was born in Frankfurt in 1895.
