Anton Perko was an Austro-Hungarian naval officer and painter.
He was an Austro-Hungarian naval officer with the rank of lieutenant of a liner (Linienschiffleutnant), as a painter he was for some time a pupil of Selleny and Durand-Brager. He painted in oil and watercolor. In 1866 he released "Lissa-Album" with 12 scenes from the Battle of Vis. In 1875 he accompanied Emperor Franz Joseph to Dalmatia and was awarded the title of "chamber naval painter". He later became the manager of Hradčanyin Prague and secretary to the then heiress to the throne, Stephanie, and in 1895 moved to Dubrovnik. Several of his paintings are in the Joanneum Gallery in Graz, and two watercolors on display at the Albertina in Vienna.
