
Wycliffe Egginton was a landscape painter born in Wallasey, Cheshire. Egginton was headmaster of the College of Art in Devon. He exhibited oil and watercolour works in the Royal Academy. He also had a number of one-man shows in the Fine Art Society and public collections in the Royal Institute and Paris Salon. He is the father of the artists Frank and Lucy Egginton.
