Walter de Navazio was an Argentine landscape painter.

He traveled from the province of Córdoba to Buenos Aires to study drawing at the Academy of Fine Arts. He continued his studies in the studio of the Italian painter José Quaranta and, later, together with Thibon de Libian, Ramón Silva and Carlos Giambiagi, he approached the painter Martín Malharro, who would be his teacher and a fundamental influence on his career.

In 1909, he traveled to Europe to complete his training and, in 1910, he took part in the International Art Exhibition of the Centenary, presenting the oil painting Tarde gris.

In 1911, he participated for the first time in the National Salon. Two years later, in 1913, he won the Acquisition Prize for Fresco vespertino and, in 1919, second prize with his work Tarde en San Alberto. He continuously held group and individual exhibitions, pursuing his career with great difficulty due to his extreme poverty.

He died of tuberculosis in 1921 at the age of 33.
