Veronica Maria Herwegen-Manini was born as the daughter of the artist Peter Herwegen (1814-1893) in Munich in 1851. Veronica Herwegen was a young woman who was initially a student of Wilhelm von Lindenschmidt the Elder. J. and quickly specialized in architectural painting and vedute. She took numerous study trips took her to Italy, where she married the Italian writer Giovanni Manini in 1896. Before that she was represented with numerous views of Rome, Venice and Naples at the Berlin academy exhibitions, as well as several successful exhibitions in the Munich Glass Palace between 1879 and 1897.
