Simon Andreas Krausz was a Dutch painter, draftsman and etcher.
Krausz was a student of Léonard Defrance (1773-1774) and later of the Hague Academy. He became a member of Confrerie Pictura in 1780 and won a gold medal in 1782. He mostly painted landscapes and interiors.
Krausz lived and worked in The Hague and taught, among others, Hendrikus van de Sande Bakhuyzen and Frederik Lodewijk Huygens
