Ricardo Villegas Cordero was a Spanish painter. He was the brother of the painter José Villegas Cordero, better known than him. He drowned in the river Guadalquivir, after falling from the boat he was traveling on.

He presented a painting entitled the death of Viriato at the 1890 National Exhibition, representing the murder of the Lusitanian chief.
