Follow

Weissbuch was also known for his woodblocks. He was part of the Federal Art Project which was sponsored by the WPA in the late 30s early 40s. He contributed to the WPA Collection, 1935-42, and is listed by the Smithsonian Archives of American Art as a WPA artist.

His brother, Jack, was married to my wife's great aunt, Ruth, from whom she inherited several of his woodblocks and watercolors.
