Follow

Oscar Rabe Hanson was a Chicago-based artist and illustrator. His most notable works were a series of posters he designed as part of the Insull Transit Poster Campaign in the 1920s. He is believed to have designed 29 images for the campaign between 1923 and 1926, and his work was exhibited in the 1930s at the Society of Independent Artists and the Salons of America. He died very young, at the age of 25, of an accidental gunshot wound.
