Mieczyslaw Reyzner was born in 1861 in Lviv, in today’s Ukraine. In 1880, he moved to Vienna and studied panting at the Academy of Fine Arts. He continued his studies in Munich and Paris. Since 1897 he was based in Lviv. His oeuvre includes paintings with genre scenes, religious subjects, landscapes, portraits and still lifes.
