Lucjan Wędrychowski was a Polish painter.
In the years 1879–1880 he studied under Izydor Jabłoński and Feliks Szynalewski at the School of Fine Arts in Krakow. For the next 6 years (1881–1887) he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Alexander Strähuber (German) and Sandor Wagner (Antikenklasse: from October 11, 1881). From 1887 he studied again in Kraków with Jan Matejko . In 1900 he went to Austria-Hungary, to Nižna Olšava, and a few years before his death he returned to Krakow.
In 1898 he married Helena Gruszczyńska. He had a daughter, Janina Byszewska. He is buried at the Rakowicki Cemetery in Krakow.
