Louis Grimshaw

Louis was born on 11 Mar 1870. He was the son of John Atkinson Grimshaw and Frances Hubbard.
Louis was also an artist and before the death of his father in 1893, collaborated with him on several works. Louis also favoured the photo-realism style of his father and produced work with a similar theme. He eventually abandoned his art in 1905 to become a cartographer for the Manchester Guardian.
In the last quarter of 1911 he married Marion Young. Their marriage was registered in the Prestwich district of Lancashire.
Louis died on 7 Mar 1944 at his Parkway home, age 73.
