



Hippolite Mailly was a French designer, lithographer and photographer.
Hippolite Mailly was born on March 13, 1829 in Villers-Cotterêts (Aisne).
Mailly was a pupil of M. Collette. Mailly contributed to several newspapers of the Second Empire, the Bouffon, the Chafer.
In his last days, he was in Reims and published caricatures in a newspaper of this city. He died on September 16, 1888 in Bazancourt.
