Adolphe Henri Laissement was a French painter .
Adolphe Henri Laissement entered the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1872 and was one of the most brilliant pupils of Alexandre Cabanel. Many of his works received awards and medals. In 1907,he was awarded the Legion of Honor for his painting, Republican Journalists.
He died from tetanus on April 12, 1921, his funeral took place in Paris at the Saint-Louis-d'Antin church. He is buried in the Montmartre cemetery.
