Hans Wilt was an Austrian landscape painter.
Wilt began his training with the theater painter Johann Kautsky and studied from 1886 to 1891 at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with the landscape painter Eduard Peithner von Lichtenfels. In 1892 he received an honorary diploma at the watercolor exhibition in Dresden.
Thanks to a scholarship from the Academy, he spent the years 1893 and 1894 on a study visit to Rome. From 1890 to 1899 he took part in the annual exhibitions in Vienna. He won a bronze medal at the Paris World Exhibition in 1900. From 1900 to 1910 he worked in the Netherlands.
