Gustave René Pierre was born in 1875.
He was a French painter and graphic artist from Verdun, which is located in Paris. Pierre was a pupil of Gustave Moreau and Fernand Cormon at the Art Academy of the city.
Since the middle of the 1890's, the artist sent his works to the salon of the Société des artistes. Pierre painted Breton and and Norman countrymen, landscapes, city scapes, portraits, and bathing women.
Gustave Rene Pierre passed away in 1939.
