Gustav Peter Franz Schraegle was a German painter.
Schraegle, who was born in what is now a district of Offenbach, studied from 1885 to 1891 at the Royal Art school in Stuttgart with Jakob Grünenwald, Gustav Igler and Friedrich von Keller, who became known for their genre painting. After moving to Frankfurt, he created numerous portraits, landscapes and still lifes there. Works by Schraegle can be found in the Städel or in the portrait collection of Dr. Senckenberg Foundation in Frankfurt.
Gustav Schraegle was a member of the Deutscher Künstlerbund .
