



























Georges Gaudion, born November 22, 1885 in Toulouse and died February 17, 1942 in Luchon-Superbagnères, was a chemist, musician, poet, but above all a painter and illustrator. He played a major role in the intellectual and artistic life of the Toulouse region during the inter-war period.
Georges Gaudion was born in Toulouse, in his parents' apartment at no. 21 rue du Taur, opposite Notre-Dame du Taur church. He studied at the Faculty of Law, then as a chemical engineer, where he was assistant to Paul Sabatier. He was awarded a doctorate in science in 1911. He was the author of several musical works, most of which he composed around the age of twenty.
He was married to the painter Luce Boyals. He died as a result of a skiing accident on February 17, 1942 at the Luchon-Superbagnères ski resort.
