Franz Wieschebrink was a painter of genre who was born in Burgsteinfurt on the 14 March 1818 and who died in Dusseldorf on 3 December 1884. He was a pupil of the academy in Dusseldorf.
Works by the artist can be found in the museums of Breslau, Munster and Trieste.
