František Hladík was a Czech academic painter.
František Hladík was born in Královské Vinohrady into the family of painter Václav Hladík. He studied at the Academy of Painting in Prague in 1908-1914, most recently at the special school of Professor Vojtěch Hynais. In 1915 he married Maria Tittlbach of Kunratice. During the First World War, he served on the Italian front, portrayed some military figures in a field hospital and made allegorical paintings in the chapel of the military cemetery in "Sternthal" in Styria.
Many of his works have been reproduced in the magazines Dílo and Zlatá Praha. He participated in the exhibitions of the Union of Fine Artists in Prague and had a group exhibition in 1930 and 1936 in Humpolec
