Follow

Eugène Pavy traveled to Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco and probably Egypt, where he found the motifs for his narrative pictures of the Orient. He exhibited his depictions of street vendors, armed guards and souks in both Paris and London, where he resided from 1878 to 1883 and sent the exhibitions of the Royal Academy.
